EatNow is an online marketplace for takeaway food. Customers can find local restaurants and place orders for pickup or delivery.
David joined EatNow when it was a rapidly growing part of Catch Group. In February 2015 EatNow merged with Menulog to become Menulog Group and in May 2015 Menulog Group was acquired by Just Eat Plc.
Initially reporting directly to the General Manager, and later leading a team of three senior engineers, David was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enhancements and bug fixes. This included:
David’s team was also responsible for critical non-functional features, including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), security, performance, scalability, usability and reliability.

MYOB is a leading vendor of business software. David worked on the web based accounting product, LiveAccounts (now known as MYOB Essentials).
David's role invovled collaborating with business analysts, product owners and testers to deliver new features, fix bugs and improve existing features, while updating the technology stack.
David played a key role in adding the payroll feature to the product.

Zed Grafix is a boutique design and branding agency. David has built and maintained a number of websites for Zed Grafix
Infosys is a global company that provides technology services to large enterprise customers. David worked on projects for a number of clients:
David designed the data flows and mappings neccessary to bring data into NAB’s global datawarehouse from Advantedge (a mortgage lender).
David also documented many of the existing datawarehouse data flows.
David helped AMP Capital quickly get their new website ready for launch. He also worked with an external vendor to patch security issues in the secure client portal.
David designed worked closely with stakeholders from Telstra to design the reports required to effectively manage and govern all program and project activity at Telstra. He then worked closely with an offshore team to build and test the reports.
David also took a lead role in performance tuning the reports, and developed a number of innovative approaches to ensure the reports could accurately aggregate data from thousands of projects in a timely manner.
Roster Manager was a web based system for staff rostering, backed by a genetic algorithm for optimally allocating staff to shifts.
